The Magnum T2 is a Human weapon in Raze. One of two weapons that all players start a match with, it's a simple but versatile weapon that remains effective in any scenario the player finds themselves in.
In-game Description[]
"This magnum type handgun is the strongest pistol to date. Carried by only the highest ranking officers, it delivers a force strong enough to rival most rifles and other larger weapons. Because of it's power, this handgun needs to be held with both hands in order to keep the aim steady. It has a small clip, but packs a powerful punch if the shots connect."
Strategy[]
Though somewhat weak, an entire magazine is capable of killing most unshielded enemies, provided all shots land. Accurate at most ranges, it's biggest downsides are it's slow rate of fire and relatively small magazine size of 8 shots total. With that in mind, it's recommended to maintain distance between yourself and any enemy when using this weapon if finding a replacement is not possible. Prioritising headshots will dispatch enemies quicker.
Another viable strategy is to utilise it as a combination weapon, to finish off already weakened enemies.

Trivia[]
- Other than maps exclusively with Alien weapons, this is the starting weapon of all players in a match.
- Given the inspiration of the Raze series, this weapon bears similarity to the M6D Magnum Handgun from the Halo series. They're both very powerful handguns, firing Magnum munitions chambered in .50 Calibre and issued exclusively to officers. The differences lie in the visual design of the weapon, where the M6D is a unique design, with a large handguard reminiscent of the Ripper, while the T2 more closely resembles the Desert Eagle, by Magnum Research Inc.
