The Uzi is a Human Side Arm in Raze 2. Substantially more effective than the Bio Uzi in Raze, this weapon is best used at close- to mid-range, but it has some functionality at longer ranges, specifically for finishing off enemies.

"A very fast but inaccurate uzi. Weak at a distance, but deadly up close."
Strategy[]
Given it's low damage and high rate of fire, it's recommended to avoid confrontations with distant enemies, if possible, as despite it's accuracy being surprisingly decent at longer ranges, shots still have a tendency to miss. It's most effective when taking enemies by surprise, either from above or below, and it's especially effective from behind, as it's high rate of fire will make quick work of most unshielded foes.
Another viable strategy is to use it as a combination weapon, using it to finish significantly weakened enemies off while your current weapon is unavailable. For example, if an unshielded enemy survives a direct hit from a shotgun for whatever reason, it's faster and more efficient to switch to the Uzi and finish them off, as it provides enough damage to remove any remaining health an enemy might have in 1-3 shots.
Trivia[]
- Despite being called an Uzi, this weapon bears more of a resemblance to a Glock brand machine pistol than the Sub-Machine Gun family manufactured by Israeli Military Industries. This is likely a result of popular culture propagating the idea that the term Uzi and Sub-Machine Gun/Machine Pistol are synonymous, thus conflating the terms together.
