The Assault Rifle is a Human automatic weapon in Raze. It has a low damage output per shot relative to other weapons, but it compensates for it with it's decent accuracy and high rate-of-fire.

"The standard human assault rifle issued to all human soldiers combines speed and power to make it one of the best automatics around. While not as powerful as the Magnum T2, it delivers 15 rounds per second with a clip size of 30. It may not seem too powerful, but it's deadly in the right hands."
Tactics[]
Despite initial impressions, the Assault Rifle is a highly effective weapon in capable hands, boasting an impressive DPS. It's capable of accurately hitting a target at close- to mid-range when engaging in sustained fire, making it generally efficient in taking down enemies who are limited in range or power. When using the weapon, it's recommended to fire when you have full vertical sight of an enemy's body, as attacking directly from above or below will likely cause some shots to miss unless you're perfectly on target. It's most effective at close range, where it operates akin to an SMG and every shot in unlikely to miss, though it's advised that most engagements take place outside of the immediate kill range of close-range weapons.
Generally speaking, providing all shots hit a single target, most unshielded, full-health enemies will be killed in around 15 shots. If reloading is a requirement, it's recommended to avoid combat for 2-3 seconds.
Trivia[]
- While some users claim the weapon has an ability to jam, this is a fabrication and likely a technical issue on their part.
- Though it's tenuous at best, the rifle seems to bear some resemblance to the G36 by Heckler & Koch.
- Like most weapons in Raze, it's effectiveness is generally determinate on the user's own skill.
